Artwork and Design Services

At Eclipse Print we know that design is much more than just knowing which
buttons to press. Design is all about knowing how to deliver the right message
and create the right image - you are better to leave the design of leaflets and
brochures to a professional designer. A well-designed printed item of stationery
will sell your product whereas a badly designed item may do more damage than
good or have a detrimental effect. As a rule of thumb, you should invest about
one third of your printing budget on design and two thirds on print. Our design
charges are very competitive.
Corporate Identity and Logo Design
Need
a new corporate identity or new logo? Our skilled designers will turn your ideas
into stunning images or, if you prefer, create a concept for you. However, If
your logo is just simply showing signs of old age, let us perform a facelift on
it. We are strong believers in giving your stationery and brochures a consistent
look or 'brand' so that you are easily recognisable to your customers.
Proofs
If we are preparing new artwork for you, it is important that you
thoroughly check your design before we print it. Our design service includes
sending you either a black and white or colour laser proof for checking. These
proofs are excellent for checking layout, but you should not be relied upon to
be colour accurate. If the job is colour critical, we recommend that we provide
a machine or Iris proof at extra cost.
Archiving Artwork on Disk
Every
design we produce is held on our computer system for a period of at least 3
years. This enables us to keep reprints and updates simple and inexpensive to
our customers.
Photo Scanning
Photographic images, transparencies and
logos all need to be scanned so that they can be incorporated within your
document.Our Drum Scanner offers a depth of colour and accuracy not possible
with desktop flatbed machines.
Photo Retouching
This may involve
making good blemishes on photos, taking away the background of photos to give a
cut out effect or adjusting the colour balance of photos. Work is charged at the
same rate as artwork.
Copywriting Service
To compliment our design
